The driving force behind Emergent Methods is to provide the foundational tools to developers so that they can explore/deploy adaptive modeling of dynamic systems on-premise in real-time and at large-scale.
We help dev teams, companies, scientists, and machine learning enthusiasts conduct research or run projects with tools and systems that are customized to their needs.
Our Plan
Short-term
Begin selling AskNews context endpoints B2B to help other companies infuse their LLMs with real-time information
Submit research proposal for power efficient LLM scaling
Continue our collaborations with industry/academia
Long-term
Consult for plug-in development
Distribute proprietary plug-ins
Develop course materials for Flowdapt certifications
Expand Flowdapt Marketplace for other developers to sell their plug-ins
Our specialties
Emergent Methods is an applied research company focused on the application of artificial intelligence and machine learning for large-scale, real-time adaptive modeling of dynamic systems. As these systems become increasingly common across a wide variety of domains, we at Emergent Methods are providing resource-optimized foundational tools to help you develop and deploy your adaptive application. All our tools are open-source.
We develop open-source software designed to serve as the foundation for a wide variety of large-scale adaptive modeling applications, such as on-premise LLMs, financial market forecasting, building automation, cyber security threat identification, and meteorological nowcasting. The common requirement across these examples is the need to actively stream new data to update live models in real-time. Many of these processes occur at different frequencies and have different hardware requirements, yet they need to share models/data. We provide a compute optimized foundation so that developers can develop and deploy their specific applications.
We perform research into how to best adapt to changing data, how to reduce electrical/GPU costs, and how to infuse unique data analytics into a variety of domains. Our deep history of academic publications (over 900 academic citations and counting) means that we ensure that our results are well documented, well communicated, and reproducible.
